"Suncook Valley CSA"

​​​​Naboth Gardens & Apiary of Chichester (Trish Ayers) and Little Red Hen Farm of Pittsfield (Jill Fudala)
joined forces in 2019 to create "SUNCOOK VALLEY CSA" bringing
fresh, locally-grown fruits, vegetables & herbs to your CSA baskets!
One of the primary growers and with us from the start is 
Autumnview Farm of Pittsfield​
Farmers, Bob and Cheryl Perkins, have one of the best known local produce farms around!

2025 Suncook Valley CSA will run for 12 weeks   
​(dates are approximate depending on crop production)
NEW dates: 
Saturdays, July 19th - October 4th
Mondays, July 21st - October 6th

The Details

We offer TWO sizes:    Large and Small 
​
Both shares will consist of a variety of in-season vegetables & fruits each week.   
The small share fills a quarter-bushel basket  (perfect for one or two people!)
​The large share fills a standard half-bushel basket (family size)


PRICING  (this year we are offering a discount if you pay by check!)
Quarter share is $300 
Half share is $480

CSA pick-ups will be made weekly during the allotted pick-up times as follows:  (you will have the opportunity to choose one.  This will be your pick-up location and time for the season)
  • Saturdays:   9am-10am @ Naboth Gardens, 27 Swiggey Brook Road, Chichester, NH
  •  Mondays:   5-6pm at Little Red Hen Farm at 85 Norris Rd. Pittsfield, NH 
  •                        (just 5 mins from Naboth Gardens & you can visit the farm stand while you're there!)
 
Below is a list of some of the vegetables and fruits you can expect to receive in your share during the summer and autumn months. You may also receive others not listed here. Availability and amounts will be dependent on weather conditions and any other uncontrollable variables occurring during the growing season.  While variety varies from week to week, know this, we are famous for FILLING baskets to the brim EVERY WEEK with local goodness!

Basil, Chives, Dill, Cilantro, Rosemary, Sage, Sweet Marjoram, Tarragon



​​Although we are not certified organic farms, we do follow Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices.
IPM is an environmental strategy focusing on prevention of pests using biological control, cultural practices, and resistant varieties. Pest control measures are applied selectively to minimize exposure to the environment. This way many of our vegetables are never treated throughout a growing season unless absolutely necessary.
